Firmographics are essential for understanding company structure and prioritizing accounts. While defining your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) is crucial, firmographics take it a step further by offering deeper insights into the companies you’re targeting. Done right, firmographics allow you to fine-tune your outreach strategy, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your ICP. With Predictiv, setting up firmographics is simple and effective.

Here’s how you can do it.

How to Set Up Firmographics in Predictiv

Step 1: Log into Predictiv

Start by logging into your Predictiv account.

Step 2: Navigate to the Prospect Page

On the main dashboard, head to the Prospect tab.

Step 3: Open the Firmographics Filter

On the left-side navigation, locate and select the Firmographics tab. This is where you’ll define your key firmographic criteria.

Step 4: Search for a Specific Company [Optional]

If you have a particular company in mind, use the search bar to locate it directly.

Step 5: Choose Industries to Target

Select the industries you want to target. You can filter for broader industries or drill down into sub-industries for more precise targeting.

Step 6: Select SIC and NAICS Codes

Use SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) and NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) codes to refine your target audience further. These industry codes ensure you’re focusing on the right sectors for your outreach.

Step 7: Set Employee Size

Predictiv allows you to define employee size in two ways:

  • Pre-Defined Ranges: Choose from commonly used ranges (e.g., 1-50, 51-200, etc.).
  • Custom Range: Set a specific employee size range based on your needs.

Step 8: Define Revenue

Set revenue criteria to ensure you’re targeting companies with the right buying capacity. You can filter by revenue ranges that fit your ICP.

Step 9 (Optional): Choose Company Ranking

For an added layer of targeting, you can prioritize companies based on ranking. This allows you to focus on high-impact accounts that are more likely to convert.
